Sir Stuart Rose
Sir Stuart Rose is Chairman of Marks & Spencer and best known in environmental circles for Plan A – M&S’ eco and ethical programme. Plan A takes a holistic approach to sustainability focusing on tackling issues such as climate change, waste, raw materials, health and being a fair partner and aims to make M&S the world’s most sustainable retailer by 2015. With programmes that involve millions of customers and every employee and supplier, Plan A has won a host of industry awards since it launched in 2007.
Stuart is a regular conference speaker on the business case for sustainability, encouraging companies to use eco and ethical programmes to cut waste, drive customer loyalty and future proof businesses against the challenges that lie ahead.
Stuart is also a keen motorist. He drives a Bentley Continental, offset of course.
