Brunel
Brunel X-team is a clean technology bike racing team that has been formed within the School of Engineering and Design at Brunel University West London in 2009. The Brunel X-team project is led by Dr Koen Matthys from Mechanical Engineering and is staffed with final year top students from the Mechanical, Motorsport, Electronics and Computing Engineering and Design subject areas. The mission of the racing team is to design, build and race one zero emission performance motorcycle per year. The prototype race bike serves as a mobile technology platform for the marketing and testing of innovative and sustainable transport solutions developed by Dr Matthys and his team, Brunel University and the industrial project partners.
